VideoLAN seems to have lifted the ban on Huawei handsets as the VLC app is apparently available for download again for those phones. It blocked Huawei last year for its background app killing policy.
VLC expects to surpass three billion downloads on Friday, with the majority of those downloads coming from mobile devices. VideoLAN also revealed that the media player will add support for AirPlay.
